Matthew Carr is a member of the Insurance Team within Appleby’s Corporate Practice Group since 2012. Matthew represents clients on a broad range of Bermuda corporate and regulatory matters involving re/insurance companies, investors and other stakeholders. Matthew advises on most stages of the lifecycle of Bermuda re/insurers, including structuring, incorporation, licensing, governance, capital raising, transactions, regulatory (and less frequently, de-registration). Matthew has considerable experience working with existing and new captive clients, an important part of his practice.
