Rachel is the Senior Manager of Risk Management at Transocean, where she oversees the company's insurance programs, broker relationships, claims management, surety bonds, and enterprise risk management initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in risk management, Rachel is responsible for ensuring that Transocean's global operations, which include 37 mobile offshore drilling units that operate 24/7, are protected against various risks and exposures.

Rachel's responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive insurance and risk mitigation strategies, which involve the strategic utilization of Ranger Insurance Limited, Transocean's wholly owned captive insurance company. Rachel has successfully managed and resolved numerous complex claims, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of incidents. Before her current position, she held various roles of increasing responsibility within Risk Management and Finance since joining Transocean in 2007. Rachel has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in Texas.
