Maria Angeles Riela is a qualified Lawyer in Argentina. She current serve as Consultant, Compliance Manager for Davies Captive Management Limited in Bermuda.

Throughout her 20-year career she has gain a deep knowledge in Insurance, Compliance and Litigation matters. She has a wide global experience working in Argentina, the UK and Bermuda.

In her current role, she oversees the compliance program including AML/ATF/Sanctions policies and the onboarding of new clients for captives, rent-a-captives and commercial reinsurance companies. As well as she is actively involved in the establishments of those entities. In the BD arena, she is developing new businesses with special focus in the Latin American region.

She is a qualified Lawyer in UNMDP (Argentina) and a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association. She has the ICA, International Advanced Certificate in Anti Money Laundering and the CII, Certificate in Insurance (UK).
